◆ 会议简介: 2026年第59届美国流行病学研究学会(SER)年会将于2025年6月10-13日在美国菲尼克斯举行。 SER 2026 – 59th Annual Meeting of the Society for Epidemiologic Research Date: June 23-26, 2026
下为上届信息: SER 2025 – 58th Annual Meeting of the Society for Epidemiologic Research 摘要征文投稿: Annual Meeting General Submission Notifications will be sent by April 1, 2025 Annual Meeting General Abstract Submission Policy Abstracts derived from papers already published, either in print or in an online format, are not eligible for consideration to present at SER. Papers that have been accepted for publication but not yet published may be submitted but, in the event that the paper is published in advance of the SER meeting, the author is required to notify SER and withdraw the abstract from presentation. Please use the following guidance to prepare your abstract: All abstracts must be written in English and submitted through the online submission system. Use sentence case for your title. Do not include references, tables, or mathematical equations in the abstract. Avoid acronyms and, where necessary, spell them out when used for the first time (common abbreviations in epidemiology such as OR, RR, RD, and CI do not need to be spelled out). Select a primary and secondary topic area from the list, which will be used to organize concurrent contributed sessions. The abstract should not exceed 2,000 characters, INCLUDING spaces. Title and author information are not included in the 2,000 character limit. One figure is allowed to accompany each abstract submission (optional). Presentation of methodologic details and analysis results will assist reviewers in judging the quality of the research. Findings that advance knowledge are weighed more favorably than confirmation of established relations. Clarity and brevity of writing will allow evaluation of the importance of the research. Each abstract is scored by at least three reviewers. For the general submission, the submitting author will be notified by email on or before March 31, 2023 with a final decision. If you do not receive a notification, please contact Ms. Courtney Long (clong@epiresearch.org) after this date. Abstracts selected for the annual meeting must be presented in person. If you wish to present in a virtual format, apply for the mid-year meeting abstract submission.
Annual Meeting Latebreaker Submission Late Breaking Abstract Policy What is the difference between the General Abstract Submission and Late Breaking Abstract Submission? 1. The General Abstract Submission and Late Breaking Abstracts run on a different submission schedule. 2. All submission categories remain the same for the General Abstract Submission and Late Breaking Abstract Submission 3. A higher percentage of abstracts are accepted through the General Abstract Submission. What is considered ‘late breaking’? Generally, Late-breaking abstracts are those which are (i) of high relative urgency for dissemination (substantively or methodologically), and which (ii) for compelling reasons could not have been submitted under the regular deadline. Compelling reasons might include data becoming available for analysis after the General Abstract Submission due date. “I did not manage to finish my abstract on time” is unlikely to pass muster. Abstracts selected for the annual meeting must be presented in person. If you wish to present in a virtual format, apply for the mid-year meeting abstract submission.
