Submission Areas

We invite you to submit your abstract in one of the following three areas. Click on the area for detailed information including size limitations and what to expect on the submission site, as these details vary for each area.

Research Abstracts
Early Career Clinical Case Reports
Late-Breaking Clinical Science

An abstract can be submitted only once. Submitting the same abstract to different areas or splitting one study into multiple abstracts is not allowed. If the abstracts are too similar to be considered separate studies or if the same abstract is submitted to multiple areas or categories, all versions may be rejected.

Publication in the Journal

All accepted abstracts will be published exactly as submitted in the April 2025 Abstract Supplement of The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation.

Notification of Acceptance or Rejection

On 13 December, Presenting Authors of submitted abstracts will receive a status notification of acceptance or rejection. It is their responsibility to inform all co-authors of the submission’s outcome.
