The conference is focused on collaboration and the content will address improving cancer care, quality, and outcomes for patients with cancer as well as supporting the physicians and allied health professionals who provide this care.
Authors are encouraged to submit a 200-word abstract for poster and/or podium presentation. Abstracts from physicians, advanced practice providers, allied health care professionals, administrators, nurses, program coordinators, and cancer registrars are welcome.
Content in the following areas will be given priority during the selection process.
- QI Projects to Improve Patient Care and Outcomes
- Addressing Health Equity or Access Disparities in the Accredited Programs
- Improving Performance with CoC, NAPBC, and NAPRC Accreditation Standards
- Operative Standards Implementation and Measurement of Success
- Developing Programs and Improving Services Related to Genetics, Navigation, and Survivorship
- Addressing Staging Challenges at the Program Level
- Using NCDB Data to Evaluate and Improve Performance
- The Impact of The Quality Measures in the Cancer Program
- Successful Collaboration Examples Within the Programs or Across Facilities
- Increasing Clinical Research Accrual and Research Results
- Improvements to Clinical Care
- Equity of care and the impact of social economic status on care delivery and outcomes in CoC-, National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers- (NAPBC), and NAPRC-accredited programs
- Quality improvement with patient care at accredited programs of the CoC-, NAPRC-, and NAPBC-accredited programs
- Research and analysis of National Cancer Database data using the Participant User Files (PUF)
