会议简介


The 2026 ICBSMES Symposium on Advanced Materials and Functional Devices (ICBSMES-AMFD 2026) is a specialized academic forum organized under the 2026 International Conference on Building Science, Materials Engineering and Sustainability (ICBSMES 2026). The symposium will take place on December 30, 2026, at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.


ICBSMES-AMFD 2026 provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, engineers, industry professionals and postgraduate students to present original research and exchange knowledge on the design, preparation, characterization and application of advanced materials and functional devices.


The symposium welcomes theoretical studies, experimental investigations, computational research and engineering applications addressing the relationships among material composition, structure, processing, properties and device performance. Particular attention is given to research that connects fundamental material science with practical technologies and scalable engineering solutions.


Key areas include functional and smart materials, nanomaterials, electronic and optoelectronic devices, energy conversion and storage, biomaterials, sustainable materials, advanced manufacturing and computational materials design.


Through academic presentations and interdisciplinary discussion, the symposium aims to strengthen collaboration among universities, research institutions and industry, accelerate the translation of material innovations into functional technologies, and contribute to the development of efficient, reliable and sustainable devices.

Following publication, eligible papers will be submitted to the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), Google Scholar, CNKI and other relevant academic databases for consideration for indexing. Bibliographic metadata for the published papers will also be registered and deposited with Crossref.
