The ICSSCS 2026 Sub-Forum, themed “Perspectives on History, Society, and Civilizational Exchange from a Global Perspective,” brings together world-renowned scholars and researchers to explore in depth the threads of civilizational interaction throughout history, the transformation of contemporary social structures, and cultural interactions and collisions in the process of globalization.


This Sub-Forum is dedicated to building an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural academic dialogue platform, encouraging the examination of the essence and patterns of civilizational exchange from multiple perspectives including history, sociology, anthropology, and political science, while exploring the significance of historical experiences for contemporary society.

Publication


Submitted papers will be peer reviewed by program committees and technical committee, and accepted papers will be published into conference proceedings and will be submitted to Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), Crossref, Google Scholar, CNKI, and other databases for indexing. Each Paper will be assigned Digital Object Identifier (DOI) from Crossref. The situation may be affected by factors among databases like processing time, workflow, policy, etc.

Focusing on protection strategies for tangible and intangible cultural heritage in the context of globalization, and the role and practices of cross-cultural cooperation in cultural heritage inheritance.

06. Language Contact and Language Evolution


Studying how languages influence, merge, and evolve through cross-cultural communication, and the preservation and development of linguistic diversity in the era of globalization
